APERITIVO
Hugo
The popular aperitif was invented in South Tyrol by Roland Gruber. Nowadays it is also known beyond the borders. Let yourself be inspired by the refreshing summer drink.
FIRST COURSE
"Pressknödel"
The local speciality is preferably served with melted butter and cheese. The typical cabbage salad has proven to be a good side dish. The pressed dumplings will surely bring a little bit of holiday home to you!
MAIN COURSE
"Bauerngeröstel"
It reflects the pure "Pustra Kuchl" (cuisine of the Pusteria valley): down-to-earth, authentic and local. The recipe, like so many others, originates from the plight of the local population many years ago. In this way the farmer's roast was passed on to the next generations. Today you can find it on the menus mostly with coleslaw as a side dish.
DESSERT
Apple strudel
A real classic. Whether according to granny's recipe or newly interpreted - the apple strudel belongs on every menu! It tastes especially good with vanilla sauce or ice cream!
To end
A liquor
Home made, of course. Especially popular are liqueurs made from wild berries or swiss stone pine and larch cones. But you can prepare the liqueur according to your taste.
