3 destinations

Mobile on the way by car and cable car

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Three Peaks is so much more than a pure hiking and climbing paradise. We would like to show you 3 excursion destinations that can be reached by car/bus and mountain railway.
Sunrise at Monte Elmo: once a week we take you to the mountains very early in the morning. Every Tuesday you can take part at the sunrise hike at Monte Elmo. Start your day with one of the most beautiful natural spectacles. We can't imagine the sunrise more beautiful than behind the peaks of the Sesto sundial! In order to start the morning powerfully, we recommend the mountain breakfast at the Helm Restaurant. Find out more here!

The Braies Lake: the emerald green mountain lake lies embedded in rugged rock faces at the end of the Braies valley. It can be reached by bus or car. In the high season the shuttle bus brings you several times a day to the lake. Enjoy your time at the lake and walk around it. If you like, you can rent a boat and sunbathe on the water.

The view of the Three Peaks: At the "Lago di Landro", in the "Val di Landro" valley, you will find the "Vista Tre Cime"- the only place where you have the view over the powerful Three Peaks from the street. Take a trip from Dobbiaco into the "Val di Landro" valley, by car, bus or bike and pass the Dobbiaco Lake, the "Lago di Landro" lake and if you like the Misurina Lake. Fantastic views of Monte Cristallo are guaranteed!
